A Prayer Request on Sat, 7 Aug 2004 10:47PM:
Ralph Sabine has taken a fall while up in Maine at their camp. A blood vessel broke in his head, producing a blood clot, which in turn produced internal bleeding and pressure on the brain. Brain damage has occurred. He is in a Maine hospital, unconscious and not responding. The doctors do not expect him to survive.
PRAYERS: Peace, comfort, strength and guidance for Mary and the family. A peaceful
departure from Earth to Heaven for Ralph, and traveling mercies for all the family when the time comes to depart.
(As read in church Sunday morning by Diana Schuman.)
(The Rev. Ralph Sabine is a retired United Methodist Pastor, serving at St. John's UMC as a Pastor Emeritus. He and his wife, Mary, have served faithfully in many rolls at St. John's, most notably, spending many hours visiting the sick, the shut-in, and the elderly.)
