Tell me the stories of Jesus … online
Telling the stories of our ministries - online - is an important way we can reach out to people who are wondering “How is Jesus working through the people of St. John’s?” And with our new web site, it really is easy to tell the stories, as well as post and update announcements for the St. John’s community online, at StJohnsDover.org.
A quick tour

At the top of every page are links to frequently visited parts of the site - Sermons, Education, Ministries and more.
There’s an up-to-date calendar of upcoming events at the top right of the Home page. Click on any “Upcoming Event” to read the full announcement.
Further down the Home page, in the lower left column, you’ll find the News: a list of the most recent articles that have been published, with the newest items listed first.

After following a link to a story or event, you can always return to the front page by clicking on Home in the upper left corner.
Can I post an announcement?
There is plenty of space for news, announcements, pictures and much more. Each of our programs and ministries can tell their own story, and describe their opportunities for service and fellowship. Prayers, meditations and reflections are welcome, with the author’s permission.
As a member of the St. John’s community, just send any information you would like to share on our web site by email to webservants [at] stjohnsdover [dot] org. We’ll do our best to have it posted quickly. We’ve made it as easy as possible to contribute articles and events on StJohnsDover.org. So if you’re fairly comfortable using other web sites — e.g. you manage your email online or participate in online groups — just ask us how you can edit your own announcements!
Who can read the St. John’s web site?
Our goal is that the web site helps everyone to connect with God’s love as made known to us in Jesus, and with the programs and people in the St. John’s community. All articles on the web site are publicly available to everyone with access to internet. It is our intention and policy to obtain permission before publishing any identifying information about someone on the web site, and it is our hope that such permission will usually be granted by members of St. John’s. If you do not wish your full name or picture to appear on the web site, or you see an error that should be corrected, please send an email to privacy [at] stjohnsdover [dot] org. You can read and comment on our privacy policy at http://www.stjohnsdover.org/sjd/privacy-policy/.
Blessings and peace,
