Acolyte Training
What is an acolyte? What do they do? How often would I be an acolyte? An acolyte is the person who lights and extinguishes (put out) candles for the church services. The acolyte brings the light into the service. When extinguishing they bring to light of Christ into the world. You would acolyte about once every three months.
If you are interested in this ministry, speak to Janet Warfield or call at 330-3420 or email at melmojw [at] verizon [dot] net. There will be training for new acolytes on Monday, September 24th at 6:15 PM in the Sanctuary.
