St. John’s United Methodist Church

Dear Brothers and Sisters of St. John’s Church,

I write to share the news that our sister in Christ, Aura Smith, has gone to be with the Lord.  She passed away early this afternoon.  Please keep Gerry and their sons and families in your prayers.

The family will be meeting with the funeral home in the morning, so I don’t have any details about the funeral/memorial service at this point.  I’ll try to delay sending out tomorrow’s regular edition of “News & Notes” until I have that to share with you.
