October is always a popular time to have a Blood Drive. The volunteers often come dressed in their favorite costumes. Cookies in the canteen area are usually decorated as pumpkins and of course HOT homemade soups and chowders are always available.

The list of items they are looking for include canned vegetables, fruit and tuna; Spam; treat; corned beef hash; pork and beans; peanut butter; soups; any kind of pasta; oatmeal; Mac & cheese; toothbrushes; toothpaste; deodorant; toilet paper; shampoo and bar soap.
