Cell Phone Drive
This Spring, Safe Havens Interfaith Partnership Against Domestic Violence, in conjunction with the New England Annual Conference, is launching a used cell phone drive in local churches across New England. Newer cell phones that we collect will be reprogrammed to allow victims of domestic violence to dial 911 in an emergency. Older phones will be sold for parts, and the proceeds will support Safe Havens’ work to end domestic violence. We will accept ANY cell phone and battery.
The phones can be left in the collection box in Hartford Hall (at St John’s UMC) above the coat rack.
