School Supplies Needed
The hot, hazy and humid days of summer are almost over. The Outreach committee is collecting school items for needy students in this area. Most schools in the area require that each student have certain items available to them at the start of school. For many families, this an economical hardship. Susan Kozlowski and Patti Chappell have placed a collection box in the Narthex. Items needed: backpack, lunch bag, #2 pencils, erasers, pencil box/pouch, battery-operated pencil sharpener, pens, colored pencils, highlighters, 12″ ruler, 5″ blunt/point top scissors, glue stick, Elmer’s 4oz blue, 1-subject notebook, composition notebook, loose-leaf filler paper, folders, crayons, crayon sharpener, markers, watercolor paints, ruled index cards, book covers/sox, tissues, antibacterial hand soap, USB flash drive, tabbed dividers, compass with measuring guide and math kit/geo set.
