Mission Team - Home Depot Clinics
Once again this year, Home Depot provided training for our Mission Team members..this year we had two 3-hour sessions at the store in Rochester NH:
Saturday 2/7: We met Matt, the store manager, along with his team of experts that had volunteered their time to introduce us to some basic skills in regards to floor tiling (Bob), basic plumbing (Steve) and carpet installation (Tibby). We learned a lot and had a good time. We really appreciated all of their efforts and we hope we do them proud!
Thursday 2/12: This time Chris and Tibby worked together to show us how to install insulation (“fluff, don’t stuff!”); sheet rock installing, taping and mudding; door installation, and trimming. Again, we learned a lot and had a good time. The information and tips they shared will be very useful and we can’t wait to let them know how it all goes in Louisiana.
The Foster’s Daily Democrat newspaper did an article on our mission team and took some pictures of us during our Home Depot clinic on Thursday. You can check it out at www.fosters.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2009702229836.
Thank you Home Depot staff!
