Mission Team Commissioning Services
March 8, 2009 at FUMC Rochester and St. John’s Dover. The Katrina Mission team members were recognized in a special part of their respective services today. The congregations prayed for God’s continued blessings upon our services in the Lord’s name. The church communities recited their commitment to the rights and dignity of all persons and to the improvement of the quality of life and peace throughout the world. The team members promised to do their best as the Lord’s hands and feet while serving those in need in Louisiana. We are proud to represent our church families as we embark on this mission of Christian love. We received many personal messages of good wishes after the services as well, which meant so much to us.
