St. John’s United Methodist Church

Dear Friends,

I wanted to share information with you about the Memorial Service for our sister in Christ, Mary Sabine.  A service will take place at St. John’s Church on Saturday, May 2nd, at 3 PM.  I am sad that I will be away, and unable to take part in the service, but Rev. Dan Weaver, a good friend to Mary and Ralph, will be here to lead that service.

Because of Mary’s love of music, and her participation in many church choirs, a ”pick-up” choir will sing at her memorial service.  If you would be interested in being part of that — whether you sing with the choir regularly or not — please arrive at the church at 2 PM, and Barb Johnson will “pull the group together.” 

There will also be a reception in Hartford Hall following the service.  Claramae and her crew will put this together once again.  I’m sure Claramae would love to hear from you if you might provide a plate of cookies or squares, etc. 

Please continue to hold Mary’s family, and all those who grieve her death, in your prayers.
