St. John’s United Methodist Church

Come hear “A joyful noise to the Lord!” Once again, the Choirs from a number of the United Methodist Churches in our area will take part in a Cluster Choir Festival. This year’s festival will take place on Sunday, May 17th, at 4:30 PM, at First UMC, in Rochester. Our own Adult Choir will take part. Each of the participating choirs will sing one or two pieces on their own, and then all the singers will come together to create a Massed Choir, which will sing two pieces as well. Steve MacKenzie has agreed to serve as the Director of the Massed Choir, and Kevin Lindsay, from the host church, will be the Festival Organist/accompanist. There won’t be any admission charge, but a freewill offering will be received for a mission project (to be named).
