St. John’s United Methodist Church

In July 2010, United Methodist churches in Vermont will officially be a part of the New England Conference! While this is definitely exciting, it is also a lot of work, and there are already plenty of questions about the “nuts and bolts” of this transition.

Transition teams have been created and are continuing to meet and plan and dream in a variety of areas - from the administration of the union to the opportunities for ministry we have together as God shapes us into the “new and improved” New England Annual Conference.

We have created a web page to provide ongoing information about the progress of the transition, to welcome input, and to provide a place where you can ask questions. Please visit www.neumc.org/vermont frequently to see the new things that we are doing in planning - and in action - with our brothers and sisters in Vermont!
