Fall Rummage/Yard Sale
The next Rummage/Yard Sale is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, October 2nd and 3rd. As opposed to the Spring event, this event will sell both clothing AND Yard Sale kinds of items.
Set up will take place Wednesday evening, all day Thursday and during the day on Friday (September 30 thru October 2nd), and LOTS of help will be needed.
But we also need your contributions! Please be looking for clean, working items that would attract the customers. It would even be an extra treat if you would price them before you brought them along – to save the “set up crew.” Priced items sell much more quickly than un-priced items, and there won’t be a great deal of time for the workers to get everything priced.
Unfortunately we don’t have storage space, so we need to ask you to hold onto your donations until after Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 27th. And also please remember that exercise equipment, Readers’ Digest Books, encyclopedias and computer hardware don’t sell well, and sometimes even require us to pay for their disposal – so please don’t donate those items.
