Blessing of the Animals Service Sunday, Oct.11 at St. John’s Methodist

“All creatures great and small” are welcome at the annual Blessing of the Animals Service Sunday, Oct.11 at 3 p.m. at St.John’s Methodist Church, Dover. This annual celebration of the blessing that animals bring to our lives has welcomed animals as diverse as cats, dogs, rabbits, llamas and calves.

During the service, all animals will receive a blessing from Pastor Mark Monson Alley. Animals must be properly restrained at all times. A freewill offering will be collected for the benefit of the Cocheco Valley Humane Society.
