A Service of Healing
The next service will be on Wednesday, November 18 at 7 PM. It will be in the form of a Taize service. The village of Taize is a center of ecumenical prayer and reconciliation in the Burgundy region of France.
Three times a day, the community of brothers and visiting pilgrims come together for prayer using a particular style of singing composed by Jacques Berthier. Come and join in the simple chants as you are able. This service will provide a unique and very sacred experience.
Remember that healing and curing are not the same. Curing is only one part of healing and it generally refers to a relief of physical symptoms or a reversal of illness or restoration to the original state. God does on occasion provide a miracle cure. However, more often what is experienced in healing into wholeness is a transforming of one’s whole being- body, mind, spirit, soul- into a state of holiness- of oneness and peace. Healing is an ongoing process of transformation and growth throughout life.
Pastor Mark and the healing team will be available for personal prayer, laying on of hands and anointing with oil.
