St. John’s United Methodist Church

The 2009 Interfaith Thanksgiving Service will take place on Sunday, November 22nd, at 7 PM, at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church – on the corner of Locust and Hale Streets, next to the Dover City Hall.

For the second year in a row, the service will be shaped around “An Offering of Thanksgiving,” and will include music or sacred readings from many of the faith communities in Dover and Madbury. Our own Adult Choir and Sacred Dance Choir will participate.

People are still talking about what a wonderful event last year’s service was at Temple Israel, and this year’s service is shaping up to be just as blessed!

Offerings received of non-perishable food items as well as monetary gifts will be given to the Food Pantries in Dover.
