Trustee News

It was great to see 17 people attend the Fall Clean-up Day. Work was completed in the sanctuary, Hartford Hall, the Sunday School area and on the grounds.

Did you notice the difference? Is there something you look at when you are here and say, “I wish they would do something about…?”

We want visitors and new members to think that this is a place they want to keep coming back to again and again. Can you let us know what you think should be cleaned, painted, updated, etc.? Also, sit back and say, “I am one of them. This is my church, too.” What can you do to help take care of your pet peeve, or another area of the church campus?

Speaking of the church campus, the congregational garden is coming. The property used to be the site of a brick making company. Bricks are still on the property, only covered with grass and located on the site of the garden. We will not be deterred, only somewhat delayed in this ministry. As of now, the area has been staked and the ground tilled. The fence is being installed.

Bids are being accepted for an elevator/lift to make the Sunday School area handicapped accessible. The need for this was made clear during the recent fair as numerous people had difficulty accessing the lower level.
