St. John’s United Methodist Church

Do you think that God may be calling you to help the people of St. Bernard Parish rebuild their homes and lives? No special skills are needed as we put our Christian love into action in Louisiana. The experience is likely to transform you on your faith journey.

Our team departs on April 17, and returns home on April 26. We again are staying at Reaching Out In Love Relief Center in Violet. This is only fifteen minutes away from our new construction manager, The St. Bernard Project (www.stbernardproject.org). Our team already has over a dozen volunteers, including several teens. Orientation takes place at St. John’s on Tuesday, January 26 @ 7 PM.
