“Souper” Bowl Sunday is back!

Next week after both services, our youth groups will be collecting money to stop hunger. “Souper” Bowl of Caring was created in 1990 by a youth group in South Carolina. Their concept was based on the idea that world hunger could be stopped if every person watching the Super Bowl donated just $1 to the cause. The organization keeps track of how much money is collected, but every participating group can choose to which local charity to give their funds.

Our donations will be divided equally between the Dover Food Pantry and Friendly Kitchen. Last year, “Souper” Bowl of Caring’s efforts collected $10.4 million nationwide in addition to hundreds of thousands of pounds of canned goods. Our youth groups pray that you will help put an end to hunger by donating next week.

Thanks for your support!
