Keep an eye open for the start of our lift project which should be starting the end of this month! It will be great to have our less agile folks be able to access the lower level finally. We are also putting in an “on demand” hot water heater for the church.
Right now, the old water heater is always on, whether there is any call for hot water or not, which means we are using fuel oil to keep it hot even if there is no use for hot water. Ken Gallant will be installing the unit for us. We hope to see a significant savings on fuel oil use once this is installed.

The Good Earth Garden is mostly all planted. The youth have been a huge help in this work. The Brownies and Girl Scouts will also be helping to plant the green beans shortly. Thanks to the Garden Committee who have been working hard to establish the garden.

Drew Williams has finished work on the new storage facility in what was the old library space. We will still need to get shelving installed but the wall and door are in place already! Thanks, Drew.

We are acquiring a “new” copier for the church office. The one Sandy uses presently has seen many years of use and is beginning to show signs of aging. We were able to get a great deal on a “slightly used” one from the law office where Sue Williams works. It should be in place very soon.

Trustees are working on a “Wish List”….what’s a wish list you say? Well, it’s a number of smaller things needed here and there around St. John’s, that if you are looking for a place to make a donation, you might want to consider one of the items on the list. Watch for it in the next Bell-Wether.
