Amare Cantare presents Bach Cantata 106 and excerpts from Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo On December 11, 12, and 15, Amare Cantare will present a concert of choral music featuring J. S. Bach’s Cantata 106 (Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit) and excerpts from L’Orfeo by Claudio Monteverdi. A guest instrumental ensemble consisting of two recorders, two violas da gamba, harpsichord, and cello will accompany the chorus.

The concerts take place on Saturday, December 11, 2010, 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Rochester, Sunday, December 12, 3:00 p.m. at the Stratham Community Church, Stratham, and Wednesday, December 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Middle Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
