Witness & Nurture
The Witness and Nurture Committee is the arm of the church that encourages all members and friends to share the good news of Jesus Christ, to offer hospitality, and to support our faith journey.
Matthew 28:19 “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
I Peter 4:9-10 “Offer hospitality to one another….Each one should use whatever gift he or she has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
Some examples of what the Witness and Nurture Committee does for our congregation:
- Oversee the writing, creation, and distribution of our “Welcome Packets” and “Muggings”
- Recruit sponsors for our new members
- Coordinate the coffee fellowship on the day new members join the church
- Send greeting cards to members of the church
